I've never had an issue with the staff. I don't care if someone greets me at the door or even says hello. However, I certainly do have some issues with the store. First off, they are the only pet store that sells puppies. Most pet stores in the area encourage adoption, allowing shelters to bring animals on Saturdays in hopes of helping them find homes. This one should do the same. They also only carry small "toy" breeds that very likely come from a puppy mill. I'm sure it benefits them greatly to sell you a puppy for $600, but if they really cared about animals, they would encourage adoption. Second, the "rodent" section is awful. Males and females just mixed together to constantly reproduce with too many in the tiny tank. I've purchased two rats from there. I got them as tiny babies that were too young to be pregnant. The second one has respiratory issues and was sick when I got her. I took her to the vet for her severe URI. Had I not taken her, she would have died. A couple of the babies were wheezing so badly that I knew they wouldn't make it. This is irresponsible for a pet store to let the animals just breed as they wish. I know many people probably won't care because they're "just rats," but the other rodents are in the same condition. Their more expensive animals seem better cared for, like the puppies, ferrets, rabbits, and birds. However, the birds always seem agitated and some of them are agressive, which means they probably haven't been properly handled or are stressed. I saw the immature reply to someone else stating you carried sick animals. I can vouch this person was telling the truth. However, if you want to "challenge me" to show you the sick ones, then I will. I'm sure you won't do a thing about it. Also, if you can't even take the time to learn how to properly sex the animals you carry, then you shouldn't be selling any animals at all. If you do know how to sex them and are just irresponsibly breeding them, then that's even worse. Also, the prices are really not cheaper than PetSmart or Petco and selection is very limited. I'd rather just shop somewhere else.

I almost don't want to write this for selfish reasons, but I read reviews for other places and I don't want to be selfish because this place is great. It's been in business since I was a small child. I have 2 male shihtzus from Pet Center and they light up my life. If you c Man't adopt and you must shop, definitely go here. My 2 little boys from here have been nothing but healthy and delightful blessings.
